LET’S REINVENT THE EARTH
Holistic approach: circular economy, urban farming, biodiversity, ecosystem features and site facilities, low carbon design, geothermal loop
“Factory-upon-Seine / Let’s reinvent the earth” is a raw earth architecture manifesto, designed with the Pritzker Price architect Wang Shu, and with Lipsky et Rollet. The project takes place within the former Ivry water factory tanks framework. It overlooks a green spaces system, which faces the river Seine. The created raw earth “village”, with wooden and concrete building structures, comes with a workshops and offices “belt” to emphasize the former factory.
